The Records Division of the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for managing and maintaining all official law enforcement records.

Services:

• Report Management: Processes and provides copies of incident, arrest, and CAD reports.
• Fingerprinting & Live Scan: Offers DOJ-authorized fingerprinting for employment, licensing, and background checks.
• Permit Issuance: Handles permits for peddlers, explosives, alarms, firearms, bingo, taxi, massage, and second-hand dealers.
• Public Records Requests: Responds to California Public Records Act (CPRA) inquiries while ensuring confidentiality compliance.
• Towed Vehicle Information: Supplies details on impounded or stored vehicles.
• Crime Data Reporting: Submits monthly crime statistics to the California DOJ.
