Los Rios Community College District offers Refugee Career Pathways, a program that supports refugees in achieving career and education goals. 

The program serves refugees, asylees, and Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders living in and around Sacramento County.

Services include:

• Career exploration and individualized planning for living‑wage careers
• College onboarding and navigation (finding classes; guidance throughout enrollment)
• Work‑readiness coaching and job‑search support (workshops, networking skills)
• Information about tuition assistance (depending on eligibility)
• Multilingual program orientations (Dari/Pashto; Ukrainian/Russian) with eligibility overview and expectations

Additional notes:

Bring immigration documents to orientation for eligibility verification (I‑94, green card, work authorization). Staff do not copy or retain documents.
