Placer County Transit (PCT) operates a Vanpool program to support commuters traveling to or from Placer County for work. The program is designed to reduce traffic congestion and commuting costs by subsidizing eligible vanpool groups.

Services include:

• Financial assistance for qualifying vanpools that include at least 5 passengers commuting to or from Placer County
• Subsidies of up to $600 per month per vanpool, depending on mileage and number of participants

Additional notes:

Participants must commute at least 30 miles each way. At least 50% of the vanpool must start, end, or travel through Placer County to qualify.
