The Office of Financial Readiness provides educational materials, tools, and guidance to help service members, military families, and Department of Defense (DoD) civilians improve financial literacy and manage personal finances.

Services include:

  • Educational articles and guides on budgeting, saving, credit, debt, and investing
  • Interactive tools and calculators for personal financial planning
  • Resources for major life events such as deployment, relocation, and transition to civilian life
  • Links to installation-based Personal Financial Managers for one-on-one support
  • Information on military pay, benefits, and consumer protections
  • Web-based access to all materials at no cost

Web-based; no public phone line. Audience includes active duty, National Guard, Reserve, military families, and DoD civilians.
