The Opioid Treatment Program at Aegis provides Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder through Aegis Treatment Centers.
It uses prescription medications such as methadone or buprenorphine (Suboxone) combined with counseling and behavioral therapies to offer a comprehensive approach to treatment.
Services include:
- Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) using methadone or buprenorphine (Suboxone)
- Counseling and behavioral therapies as part of treatment
- Individual and group counseling, case management, social work, referrals to community resources, educational programs, eligibility work, vocational rehabilitation, and nutritional counseling
- Consultation to determine eligibility for the program (no referral required)
Treatment Center Locations for Placer County Residents:
- Auburn Treatment Center: Auburn patients enrolled in the Roseville program receive medication at the Auburn location and counseling at the Roseville location. The medication unit provides convenient, daily access to treatment for rural residents.
- Roseville Treatment Center: Main Placer County clinic, specializing in outpatient substance use disorder treatment, including methadone maintenance and detox. Services include individual and group counseling, case management, educational programs, and more. People must dose at clinics associated with their intake clinic, though exceptions can be pre-arranged if needed.
For Medi-Cal Recipients:
- Placer County Medi-Cal recipients must complete an initial intake in Roseville before dosing at either location.
