The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) – Center for Women Veterans (CWV) is a federal program that advocates for and supports women Veterans by ensuring access to VA benefits, health care, and services. The Center works to improve outcomes for women Veterans through education, outreach, and coordination across VA programs.

Provides information, advocacy, and coordination of services for women Veterans nationwide. Services include:

• Information and referrals to VA benefits, health care, and support services
• Outreach and education to increase awareness of available programs and eligibility
• Coordination and monitoring of VA programs serving women Veterans
• Advocacy to ensure equitable access to services and culturally responsive care
• Assistance connecting Veterans to local VA resources, including Women Veteran Coordinators and health services
• Promotion of services addressing specialized needs such as military sexual trauma, mental health, and gender-specific health care
