The City of Nevada City transit is served by the Nevada County Connects.  Nevada County Connects provides local and regional fixed-route bus service to the Cities, towns, and unincorporated areas of Western Nevada County, including Nevada City, Grass Valley, Penn Valley, Rough and Ready, Lake Wildwood, Alta Sierra, Lake of the Pines, and the regional hub at the Auburn Amtrak station.
