| The Rocklin Police Department is a full service police agency. Their goal is to use department resources to protect life and property in our city while providing high quality service to our residents. Text to 911 Mobile phone users living in or traveling through Placer County now have the ability to send text messages to 9-1-1. This new service provides the hearing and speech impaired residents, or those in situations where it is too dangerous to talk or where making noise could put their life in jeopardy, an alternative option. The Rocklin PD is still encouraging individuals who are able to make a voice call to 9-1-1 to please call instead of text.
