The Brooklyn Public Library (BPL) offers Books UnBanned, a national initiative that provides free digital library access to teens and young adults affected by book bans and censorship across the United States.
Services include:
- Free BPL eCards for youth ages 13–21 living anywhere in the U.S.
- One-year access to 350,000+ eBooks, 200,000+ audiobooks, and 100+ databases
- Participation in a teen-led digital community promoting intellectual freedom
- Opportunities to share personal stories, essays, and reflections on book bans
