FCS serves students from four counties: Nevada, Placer, Yuba and Sierra.

Four sites:
The Nevada City Learning Center is located at 470 Searls Avenue in Nevada City, CA 95959. Forest Charter School's business and administrative offices are located here, as well as our P.A.C.E. Co-ops, Global Studies Academy, K–8th grade, and high school block classes.
 
The Truckee/Tahoe Learning Center is located at 10725 Pioneer Trail in Truckee, CA 96161 in the Sierra Building. We serve students with a variety of programs including our Tree Top K–8 Co-op and a high school program. Our learning center serves many students who need an alternative education schedule to pursue extracurricular activities such as skiing, snowboarding, equestrian, swimming, and arts.
 
The Foresthill Co-op/Learning Center is located at 23221 Forest Hill Road, Foresthill, CA 95631. We strive to meet individual needs through classroom-based instruction and experiential, project-based learning. Forest Charter also offers a full independent study program for those families who prefer to educate their children at home. Please call 530-367-8100 to contact an Enrollment Coordinator.
 
The Auburn Learning Center is located at 11952 Masters Court in Auburn, CA 95603. Forest Charter offers a variety of educational delivery options in the Auburn area including but not necessarily limited to the following: Individualized programs, Home schooling support, Tutoring, On-line courses, CTE (Formally ROP) and Work Experience Education, Community college opportunities, College and career advisors, Field studies and field trips.
