PIRS is a core partner in the Placer County Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC). The ADRC serves as a “no wrong door” point of entry to discuss options for the long-term services and supports (LTSS) available for older adults, people with disabilities, their families and personal assistants. Through Options Counseling, PIRS Advocates can assist people in making informed decisions about their long–term care needs, and to help them make a plan to be able to live as they want in the community. You can contact the ADRC through the ADRC navigator at (916) 437-1465, at PIRS at (530) 885-6100 or PlacerADRC@AgencyOnAging4.org

PIRS:
  • Advocates for the rights of people with disabilities
  • Educates the community about disability issues
  • Provides services to persons with disabilities to live independent productive lives

Placer Independent Resource Services serves Placer, El Dorado, and Alpine counties.
