PIRS maintains an updated personal assistant registry by recruiting qualified individuals to be employed by individuals to provide personal assistance, care, or domestic services.  The Personal Assistant Registry Coordinator educates people about employer/employee responsibilities and management strategies, and provides referrals to screened applicants on the registry.  You can contact the Personal Assistant Registry Coordinator at (530) 885-6100, ext. 31.
