Emergency Day Respite Center is available for day use only.

The Emergency Day Respite Center provides:

• Warm meals
• Showers (not ADA compliant or wheelchair roll-in accessible)
• Laundry
• Case Management
• Access to counseling, community, and basic necessities
• Longer-term support when possible

Offers assistance in multiple languages through a Language Line service.

HOURS
Open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1 pm to 5 pm.
Starting 2024, hours will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 1 pm - 5pm. 

LOCATION
Church of the Mountains at 10079 Church Street, Truckee, CA 96161
(This is the new location as of June 1, 2021. Lower level.)

DONATIONS
Call NTTHS program phone at 530-386-7954 to inquire if we are receiving donations. DO NOT DROP OFF DONATIONS WITHOUT CALLING. We may accept donations at Church of the Mountains at 10079 Church Street during open hours. The Emergency Respite Day Center asks for items such as:

• Unopened travel size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, and/or hand cream
• Disinfectant wipes and Lysol spray
• Backpacks
• Individually wrapped Grab & Go food items such as granola bars, cookies, beef jerky, fruit cups, and/or other items

AVAILABLE ITEMS
To find out what items are currently available (such as tents, sleeping bags, or any other items you may need) please contact the main program line (by call or text) or ask a staff member in person to see what is available. Items that are offered come from donations.
