The Placer Rides program provides transportation to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and low-income families with children 0-5 who are unable to use conventional transportation services.
Qualified volunteer drivers provide rides to:
- Non-emergency medical appointments
- Public assistance
- Quality of life type services

CostMy Rides is a
donation-based program.
Volunteer DriversPlacer County residents can enlist a relative, neighbor, friend, or a pool of existing volunteer drivers to get them to non-emergency medical appointments, public assistance, and quality of life types of services. Volunteer drivers must have an
approved application on file to receive reimbursement.

This program is a collaboration between the
Western Placer Consolidated Transportation Services Agency,
Seniors First, and
Area 4 Agency on Aging, with Seniors First currently serving as the implementing agency.
