The Health Education Council partners and collaborates with a wide range of individuals and organizations to provide access, education, advocacy and training to empower individuals towards a healthy life. Their programs are run largely by volunteers and geared to promote healthy eating and active living, as well as to promote safer communities by addressing violence as a public health issue.
