COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION: INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAM
No cost to foster youth. Cheaper than going straight to a 4 year college. No grade requirement.
If you did not receive your high school diploma, had bad grades, or received your GED, you can still go to a community college and then if, you wish, transfer to a 4 year college.
You can transfer to a 4 year college after you get 70 units at a community college which can be used toward obtaining a Bachelors degree. Vocational training programs also available such as nursing, computer programming, mechanics, and electronics to name a few.
