NAMI PLACER COUNTY
NAMI Placer County (National Alliance for Mental Illness) is a grassroots, family, and consumer self-help support and advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with severe mental illnesses such as:
- Schizophrenia
- Bipolar disorder (manic depressive)
- Clinical depression
- Panic disorder
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
NAMI offers in-person and zoom support groups and educational classes for families with one or more members experiencing a mental illness such as:
- Family Support Share & Care
- Family to Family education class
- Peer to Peer mentor class
