The Nevada County Veterinary Disaster Response Team (NCVDRT) provides trained volunteers to assist with animal evacuation during disasters and emergencies in Nevada County.

In emergencies, animal evacuation efforts are coordinated by Nevada County Animal Control, a division of the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office.

Services include:

• Deploying trained volunteers to assist with animal evacuation
• Supporting Nevada County Animal Control in field response during disasters
• Collaborating with emergency services and evacuation shelters to manage displaced animals
