The Relief for Energy Assistance through Community Help (REACH) programs are administered for PG&E by the Dollar Energy Fund. The programs apply payments directly to the past-due utility bills of eligible families. REACH currently offers two types of relief. People may qualify for one of these programs depending on their household income.

REACH programs are for eligible PG&E customers. People who are Pioneer Community Energy customers may also be eligible for this program because Pioneer uses PG&E infrastructure (poles and wires) to deliver electricity.

  • Two different REACH programs are managed for PG&E by Dollar Energy. REACH is for low income households and REACH Triple Match is for low to moderate income households.
  • Visit the Dollar Energy website for current info about each program's eligibility requirements and grant amounts.
  • The maximum grant amount changes each year. Grant awards are based on need and each family’s circumstances are different. Grant amounts are determined on a case by case basis.
  • Applicants can only receive a grant once every 12 months.
  • Grants can only be used to pay past due amounts.
