Nevada County Adult Education offers a number of programs for the community:

High School Diploma: Individual Learning Plans are developed for every student and focus on sequencing coursework and graduation timelines. Curriculum is delivered online with classroom teachers providing personalized support. This allows for students to progress at their own pace, working in class or at home. Guidance counseling is available for postsecondary transitions and planning.

Prepare for the GED: Curriculum is delivered online with classroom teachers providing personalized support. Our program is designed to help you prepare quickly and efficiently In class and at home. Practice exams are available so you know when you’re ready for the final exam.

English Language: Multi level classes offered to help learn English in a safe environment.

Citizenship: Curriculum online with staff available for individualized support.

Workforce Development: Computer skills courses, Administrative Assistant courses, Instructional Aide courses all offered in a classroom setting.

All registration is available online.

Courses also offered at the Bear River High School Campus. Future site planned for Grizzly Hill School in North San Juan.
