Spirit Peer Empowerment Center works collaboratively with the Crisis Response Team and Mental Health Urgent Care. Provides trained crisis peer supporters to meet with patients who are being evaluated for a 5150 involuntary psychiatric hold. After meeting with them at the hospital, crisis peer supporters follow-up with phone calls to assist people and connect them with community services in the hopes of avoiding repeat visits to the Emergency Room or suicide attempts.

Offers suicide prevention resources including one-on-one peer support.
