| The San Juan Ridge Community Library provides an inspirational and educational hub while giving the residents, including students, of the San Juan Ridge excellent library services including book exchange, DVD rentals, and internet access in a central location. The library lends books, DVDs, CDs, audio and large print books for both adults and children. Also offers computers, printers and wifi for public use. The San Juan Ridge Community Library serves as a meeting place for the entire community. Located in the old Twin Ridges District office, it's surrounded by Oak Tree Park. The library has a collection of over 11,000 titles, including audio books, documentaries, large print, local history and more. The internet has been upgraded to Fiber Optic cable provided by Nevada County Library and there are 3 public computers and a wireless color/BW printer. The library is a recipient of Measure A funds that allow it to pay employees, develop the collection, and create programs. |
